Job summary

Prostaffworkforce seeks a Preventative Maintenance Technician/Mechanic in Blue Mound, TX to maintain conveyors and industrial equipment. The role focuses on scheduled PM, diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, and performing PLC-related tasks within a warehouse setting.

You will use CMMS to log work orders, follow lockout/tagout procedures, and support continuous operations across Friday to Sunday night shifts. Lift up to 75 lbs and read schematics are needed.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining conveyors and industrial equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Comfortable overnight shifts and industrial environment.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and climbing ladders.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on conveyors and related equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on facility systems.
• Operate PLC-controlled sensors and drive systems to minor faults.
• Complete PM checklists and work orders in CMMS and Office tools.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment following LOTO procedures.
• Coordinate with shift and supervisor on parts and handoffs.
• Update parts usage and inventory records accurately.
