Carbondale Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the 3rd shift (10 PM–6 AM) in Carbondale, PA. If you are compassionate and thrive in a calm, focused environment, join our overnight team and help residents receive reliable, attentive care.

You’ll provide nightly caregiving, respond to call lights, assist with daily living activities, monitor residents’ condition, document vital signs, and keep a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania CNA certification.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent, compassionate care to our residents throughout the night.
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to personal needs with patience and respect.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Support mobility, transfers, and ambulation safely.
• Turn and reposition residents to promote comfort and prevent skin issues.
• Assist with meals and ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
• Observe residents closely and promptly report any changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Accurately measure and document vital signs, intake/output, and other required information.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment.
• Provide emotional support and genuine companionship during quieter hours.
