Job summary

Carbondale Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center LLC is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the second shift (2PM–10PM) in Carbondale, PA. Join our skilled nursing facility to provide hands-on care and support to residents in the afternoon and evening.

You’ll engage in activities of daily living, monitor residents’ well-being, and collaborate with a dedicated team. New graduates are welcome; compensation includes competitive pay, PTO, health options, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent, compassionate care with patience and respect.
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to residents’ personal needs.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Support safe mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Turn and reposition residents to promote comfort and protect skin integrity.
• Assist with meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
• Closely observe residents and promptly report any changes to nursing staff.
• Accurately measure and document vital signs, intake/output, and other required information.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment.
• Offer genuine emotional support and companionship during quieter moments.
