Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking an Overnight Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to administer medications and provide direct resident care per individualized care plans. This role reports to the Director of Nursing and focuses on safety, documentation, and communication with families, physicians, and supervisors.

The position supports activities of daily living, promotes resident independence, and aims to maintain a person-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current and active state-approved medication aide/technician certification.
• Insulin certification preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and medication distribution per individualized care plans.
• Observe residents and report condition changes to physicians and supervisors.
• Document observations and daily medication administration.
• Pass information to next shift and ensure timely documentation.
• Notify pharmacy and supervisor of issues for timely resolution.
