Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living in Missouri is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) for overnight shifts. You will administer medications, provide direct resident care, and follow individualized care plans to promote safety and independence.

The role requires state certification as a medication aide, CPR/BLS, insulin certification preferred, and strong teamwork. You’ll participate in ongoing training and help residents maintain quality of life in a compassionate, person-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current state-approved medication aide/technician certification required.
• Insulin certification preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including medicine distribution per care plan.
• Observe residents and report changes to physicians and supervisors.
• Document observations and MAR throughout shift.
• Pass information to the next shift and ensure timely documentation by aides.
• Administer medications following the five rights; insulin administration as certified.
• Support activities of daily living and assist with feeding, hygiene, and mobility.
