Job summary

EPI is hiring part-time, unarmed security staff in Charleston, SC to serve the College of Charleston at multiple campus locations. Primary shifts are Friday through Sunday nights from 10:30pm to 7:00am, with potential additional shifts during events.

Officers must hold or obtain a SLED Unarmed Guard card within 30 days of employment, which EPI will cover the cost of obtaining. Responsibilities include monitoring for fire, theft, and unauthorized access, signing visitors, completing reports in

Qualifications

• Must hold a SLED Unarmed Guard certification throughout employment.
• Available to work Overnight hours as required by contract.
• Able to adhere to specific instructions and post orders.
• Must have reliable transportation to/from work.

Responsibilities

• Monitor for fire, theft, vandalism, or unauthorized persons.
• Sign visitors in and maintain College DPS sign-in sheet.
• Use College provided software to complete reports, logs, and forms.
• Report unusual incidents or hazardous conditions to DPS promptly.
• Assist with maintaining security to prevent loss or harm to students and staff.
