Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age by the date of hire.
• Valid South Carolina drivers license and ability to operate campus safety vehicle.
• Criminal background check required for hire.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Routinely patrol campus and properties on foot, in vehicles, or other authorized transport.
• Secure facilities per directives; conduct safety checks of buildings and grounds.
• Observe and report safety hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor weather conditions and report dangerous activity.
• Respond to emergencies and disasters on campus.
• Enforce policies and regulations, including state and federal laws.
• Enforce traffic and parking regulations; assist with traffic control.
• Conduct arrests and issue trespasses as required.
• Investigate complaints and violations; document evidence and write reports.
