Job summary

Cascadia Global Security is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for Charleston, SC. This part-time/flex position offers 8-hour shifts (0800-1600 or 1600-0000) or 0000-0800 with pay at $19 per hour and daily pay, next-day access to earnings.

Qualified applicants must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a DMV background check. High school diploma required; prior security or customer service experience preferred. Benefits include insurance options and 401k.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Basic computer skills and report-writing experience.
• Available to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Able to handle stressful situations and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Control access at client facilities.
• Investigate and report safety conditions endangering clients and public safety.
• Patrol assigned areas on foot to observe unusual activities.
• Deter theft and vandalism.
• Ensure a safe, professional environment for clients and staff.
• Keep daily administrative documentation concise and complete.
• Maintain uniform and grooming standards.
• Perform other related duties as required.
