The Global Ambassador, a MICHELIN-recognized hotel in Phoenix, invites an experienced baker to join our on-site bakery team. You will craft breads, pastries, and cakes for a bustling, hospitality-driven property that blends global influence with warm local service.

Join a fast-paced kitchen where quality, safety, and teamwork matter. Prior high-volume baking in hotels or restaurants is required; culinary training is preferred, with overnight shifts and lifting up to 30 lbs part of the role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high-volume baking experience in hospitality settings.
• Scratch baking methods and specialty ingredients knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent sanitation, organization, and time-management.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work overnight shifts.
• Culinary degree or formal training preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Mix dough and shape bread loaves and rolls.
• Decorate cakes and pastries with fillings and finishes.
• Maintain a clean bakery station and follow food-safety procedures.
• Monitor inventory and place orders to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure freshness, consistency, and high-quality presentation.
• Package and store baked items, collaborating with Executive Chef.
