The Global Ambassador Hotel is seeking an overnight baker to craft a variety of pastries and baked goods for our 141-room luxury hotel in the Phoenix area. You will work with the kitchen team to ensure quality, freshness, and timely production.

Responsibilities include dough mixing, shaping loaves, decorating cakes, maintaining sanitation, and managing inventory. A culinary background is preferred but not required; physical endurance for overnight shifts is essential.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of high-volume baking experience in restaurants, hotels, or similar hospitality settings.
• Strong knowledge of scratch baking methods, techniques, and specialty ingredients.
• Excellent sanitation, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly and work overnight shifts reliably with minimal supervision.
• Culinary degree or formal training preferred but not required.

• Mix dough, shape bread loaves and rolls, and prep ingredients for next-day production.
• Decorate cakes, pastries, and platters, including adding fillings and finishing touches.
• Maintain a clean, organized bakery station and follow all food safety and procedures.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and ingredients, placing orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure freshness, consistency, and high-quality presentation of all baked goods.
• Package and store baked items properly while collaborating with the Executive Chef and kitchen team as needed.
