This role emphasizes scratch baking, high quality presentation, inventory monitoring, and collaboration with the Executive Chef. The position requires 2+ years in guest-focused kitchens and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, with overnight shifts possible.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high-volume baking in hospitality settings.
• Strong knowledge of scratch baking methods and specialty ingredients.
• Excellent sanitation, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work overnight shifts reliably.
• Culinary degree or formal training preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Mix dough, shape bread loaves and rolls, and prep ingredients for next-day production.
• Decorate cakes, pastries, and platters, including fillings and finishing touches.
• Maintain a clean, organized bakery station and follow food safety procedures.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and ingredients, placing orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure freshness, consistency, and high-quality presentation of baked goods.
• Package and store baked items properly while collaborating with the Executive Chef and kitchen team.
