Job summary

Hy-Vee in Mission, KS is seeking a friendly Fryer to join our Bakery team. You will mix, cut, and fry donuts to order, work at a fast pace, and provide prompt, cheerful service to customers.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 6 months to 1 year of related experience, and be able to stand for long periods. Overnight shifts are available and employment is contingent on a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• Frequently stand and walk throughout a shift in a bakery environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile.
• Mix, cut, and fry donuts to be sold to customers.
• Review special orders and prepare them as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area throughout your shift.
• Answer the telephone promptly and provide friendly, helpful service to customers who call.
