Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc. is seeking a Donut Finisher for our Bakery department. This hourly role focuses on glazing, icing, garnishing, and presenting fresh donuts, bagels, and danishes while delivering friendly service.

You'll stock the bakery case, prep work area, handle overnight shifts, and maintain cleanliness and personal hygiene standards. High school diploma or equivalent and willingness to learn are required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service at the counter or store area.
• Prepare work area and equipment for donut finishing at shift start.
• Handle donuts from freezer, prepare for finishing, and place in proof box as needed.
• Heat, glaze, ice, and garnish donuts to display case offerings.
• Review and fulfill special orders; prepare icings for next day.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and adhere to hygiene standards.
• Answer phones and assist customers; support other store areas as needed.
• Follow Hy-Vee policies and store guidelines; report to work on time.
