Job summary

Victory Programs Inc. in Boston is seeking an Awake Overnight Low Threshold Housing Resident Assistant to help manage the residence, support residents, and assist the staff with daily operations.

The role reports to the Program Director and requires staying awake during the entire shift. Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, CPR certification (may be obtained on hire), TB screening, and the ability to work with diverse populations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain residence in good repair and free from hazards.
• Ensure fire safety standards are met at all times.
• Engage in crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
• Accurately document observations, incidents and engagements.
• Assist with inventory and storage of belongings and supplies.
• Support daily office and administrative functions and record keeping.
• Communicate with management and staff via logs and incident reports.
• Attend supervision and staff meetings as requested.
• Conduct safety, security and wellness rounds.
