Job summary

Victory Programs in Boston's South End is seeking an Awake Overnight Recovery Support Specialist to provide direct care in a residential program for men with substance use disorders. The role reports to the Program Director and requires staying awake through the night shift on site.

The position involves medication support, group facilitation, data entry into EHR, and ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment while maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and with a professional team.
• Ability to engage with clients in an instructive, compassionate manner.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.
• CPR certification required (may be obtained on hire).
• TB screening completed (may be obtained on hire).
• Three professional references; at least 2 from a supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, empathetic customer service to clients.
• Assist with and monitor client self-administration of medications; follow policies.
• Maintain medication documentation and count medications.
• Support the program's therapeutic milieu; conduct rounds and answer phones.
• Input client data in Electronic Health Records.
• Facilitate group sessions and complete related docs.
• Provide referrals as needed.
• Awake for the entire shift.
