Job summary

Chapel Haven Schleifer Center in New Haven, CT is seeking a Per Diem Overnight Direct Support Professional to provide awake overnight supervision across REACH, SAIL, and SLP residences. Associate's or Bachelor's in Human Services preferred, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Services or related field.
• Minimum four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide awake overnight supervision and support at assigned residence.
• Complete periodic apartment/residence checks throughout the shift.
• Assist individuals with morning routines including waking for medication.
• Monitor systems (cameras, phones, email) and respond to needs.
• Respond to emergencies or urgent situations involving residents.
• Complete accurate overnight logs and incident reports.
