Job summary

Turnbridge is seeking compassionate Overnight Direct Support Staff to provide direct care and support for adolescents and young adults facing challenges in extended care programs. This full-time, on-site role is based in New Haven, CT, with shifts that include overnights and weekend coverage.

You will collaborate with therapists and coordinators to implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and help clients develop coping strategies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background checks (state and national) must be passed.
• CPR/PMT certification is highly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to adolescents and young adults in extended care programs.
• Offer emotional support and actively listen to clients in a safe, trusting environment.
• Support treatment plans under supervision of therapists and program coordinators.
• Encourage participation in activities, group counseling, and life skills training.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress.
