Job summary

PEG Company is seeking a Night Auditor to balance nightly financial transactions, generate reports, and ensure smooth overnight hotel operations. The role blends front desk service with back-office accounting, demanding attention to detail and independent work during overnight shifts.

You'll assist late-arriving guests, resolve issues, and prepare the hotel for the next day. The job may include serving beverages and ensuring guest safety while maintaining a clean, organized bar and lobby.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or customer service training preferred.
• Experience in front desk, reception, or customer service is desirable.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with reservation/PMS systems and computers.
• Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform nightly balancing of guest folios, room charges, and hotel revenue.
• Reconcile daily financial transactions and cash handling.
• Generate and distribute daily audit reports for management review.
• Complete accurate check-in and check-out procedures for overnight arrivals and departures.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, complaints, and emergencies during overnight hours.
• Monitor hotel security and perform property walks.
• Prepare the front desk for morning shift operations and organize reports.
• Maintain lobby and front desk area cleanliness and organization.
• Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
