Job summary

The Barnett in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Part-time Night Auditor to balance nightly revenue, run end-of-day reports in Opera Cloud, and provide outstanding guest service during overnight hours.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, hotel front desk or accounting experience, and familiarity with Opera Cloud and Microsoft Office. You will work independently during slower overnight periods while remaining attentive to guest needs and hotel operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Opera Cloud preferred.
• Hyatt experience preferred.
• Experience with financial reconciliation, cash handling, or daily reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily night audit procedures, balancing revenue, payments, and guest accounts.
• Run, review, and verify daily financial reports, confirming accuracy and discrepancies.
• Review and verify daily room charges, taxes, and postings for accuracy.
• Prepare and distribute nightly financial reports, revenue summaries, and pass-on notes.
• Greet, register, and assist guests with overnight check-ins/check-outs professionally.
