Job summary

Metropolitan Airports Commission is seeking a Terminal Operations Coordinator to manage and optimize common-use terminal assets at MSP. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management or related field, plus 1 year of relevant airport/airline operations experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and maintain solid working relationships with internal and external partners.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming calls for Terminal Operations during the assigned shift and coordinate on-call personnel.
• Allocate and communicate daily use of gates, ticket counters, baggage handling systems and other common-use equipment to airlines.
• Track use of MAC common-use facilities such as gates, counters, and baggage systems.
• Monitor daily airport operations to ensure compliance with MAC policies and ordinances.
• Communicate with pilots, airline personnel, TSA, CBP, the public and other stakeholders.
• Respond to service calls and conduct initial investigations as needed.
• Coordinate terminal and airport construction projects and facility needs during shifts.
• Issue work orders and coordinate maintenance and cleaning activities with MAC departments and contractors.
• Host and attend meetings in person or virtually.
