Job summary

Pike Electric LLC in the United States is seeking a Class A Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems, climb structures, and work on energized lines. The role requires traveling to job sites, including out‑of‑state locations, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Five years of overhead line experience and a valid CDL are required. You must be willing to travel long distances on short notice and work overtime or during outages as needed.

Qualifications

• Five years of overhead line experience.
• Valid CDL.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Lead crew in absence of supervisor and conduct safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles and conductors.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks and other equipment.
• Work safely at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Respond to outages, storms, and emergencies including on‑call rotations.
