Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a safety-focused Class B Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems. Role involves work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to multiple job sites, and reporting to the Foreman.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of overhead line experience, CDL, and willingness to travel. Expect outdoor work in all weather, with on-call rotation and potential out-of-state assignments.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of recent overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended periods at job locations, including out-of-state assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems (energized and de-energized).
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Follow switching, tagging, grounding and voltage precautions using proper tools and test equipment.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment; work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks and other overhead line equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying weather and be available for outages, storms, emergencies including on-call rotation.
