Job summary

Pike Electric LLC seeks a Class B Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems, working on energized and de-energized lines. The role may require travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations, reporting to the Foreman.

Safety and adherence to procedures are essential as you install lines and operate specialized equipment. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of overhead line experience, a valid CDL, and willingness to travel and work extended hours in various

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours including weekends, holidays and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems with safety first.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators and hardware.
• Follow switching, tagging, grounding and voltage procedures on energized lines.
• Climb structures using approved methods and PPE.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers.
• Work outdoors in varying weather and outages, storms, emergencies.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques.
