Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking a Class B Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems. This role involves working on energized and de-energized lines, climbing structures, and traveling to various sites including out-of-state locations.

You report to the Foreman and must prioritize safety. The position requires at least three years of overhead line experience, a CDL, and willingness to work extended hours, outages, storms, and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Three years of overhead line experience.
• Valid CDL required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Experience with live-line procedures and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution lines.
• Install and maintain poles, insulators, conductors and hardware.
• Perform live-line work using proper PPE and de-energize as needed.
• Climb structures and operate bucket trucks and derricks.
• Respond to outages and emergencies including on-call rotations.
