Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to job sites nationwide as needed, and report to the Foreman.

Responsibilities include live-line work with proper PPE, climbing structures, and operating bucket trucks. Must be able to work outside normal hours and endure various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours, including weekends, holidays, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems, energized or de-energized.
• Install and repair lines, poles, insulators, conductors, and hardware.
• Perform switching, tagging, grounding, and voltage tests with proper PPE.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Operate bucket trucks and other line equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying conditions and be available for outages and storms.
