Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to construct, repair, and maintain overhead distribution systems. The role involves working on energized and de-energized lines, travel to various job sites, and reporting to the Foreman.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing lines, poles, and hardware, performing live-line work with gloving and hot-stick techniques, and adhering to strict safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Three years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work extended hours, weekends, overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Operate bucket trucks and other equipment.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and outages.
• Support live‑line work using gloving and hot‑stick techniques.
