Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC in Georgia seeks a Class B Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems while prioritizing safety. You may travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations, reporting to the Foreman.

Responsibilities include operating bucket trucks and derricks, using insulated tools, and performing live-line work with proper safety protocols in various conditions.

Qualifications

• Three years of overhead line experience.
• Valid CDL required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours, weekends and holidays.
• Out-of-state assignments may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE usage.
• Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions.
• Respond to outages, storms, emergencies and on-call rotations.
