Job summary

Pike Electric, Inc. is seeking a Class B Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems on energized and de-energized lines. You may travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations, reporting to the Foreman.

Responsibilities include building and repairing lines, installing poles and hardware, and performing live de-line work with proper PPE and insulation techniques. Safety is emphasized throughout the role.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of overhead line experience
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Work extended hours including weekends, holidays, and emergency callouts

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Utilize switching, tagging, grounding and voltage control safely.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Work outdoors in varied weather conditions and respond to outages and emergencies.
