Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman in Georgia to construct and repair overhead distribution systems. Travel to various job sites, including out-of-state locations, is required and you will report to the Foreman.

Requirements include five years of overhead line experience, a CDL, and willingness to travel on short notice. You must lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights, and be available for outages and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Five years of overhead line experience.
• CDL required for operation of commercial vehicles.
• Willingness to travel long distances on short notice.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at height.
• Occasional overtime and after-hours work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Lead crew in absence of supervisor and conduct pre-job safety briefings.
• Train apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Work live-line using approved safety techniques.
• Operate bucket trucks and other equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying weather and outages.
