Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to safely construct and repair overhead electrical distribution systems. The role involves energized and de‑energized lines, climbing structures, and travel to multiple sites, including out‑of‑state locations.

You will work under a Foreman and participate in outages, storms and emergencies with on‑call rotation. Requirements include three years of overhead line experience, a valid CDL, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work long

Qualifications

• Three years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergencies and overtime.
• Live‑line work using approved gloving and hot‑stick techniques.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems on energized and de‑energized lines.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE use while isolating differences of potential.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers and other equipment.
• Climb structures and work at heights, in confined spaces, near energized equipment.
• Travel to various job sites, including out‑of‑state assignments and outages.
• Respond to outages and emergencies including on‑call rotation.
