Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to safely construct and repair overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to job sites including out-of-state locations, and report to the Foreman.

Responsibilities include new construction, maintenance, and live-line work, installing hardware, and performing switching with proper PPE. Must have 3 years of overhead line experience and a valid CDL, with ability to lift 50 pounds and work extended hours

Qualifications

• 3 years of overhead line experience.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Valid CDL required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Climb structures and operate live-line equipment.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems.
• Perform live-line work with gloves and hot-stick techniques.
• Install and repair lines, poles, insulators, and related hardware.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers.
• Travel to job sites, including out-of-state locations, as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE.
