Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to safely construct, repair and maintain overhead distribution systems, including energized and de-energized lines. You will climb structures, operate bucket trucks and perform live-line work with proper PPE, while traveling to various job sites as needed.

Applicants must have at least three years of overhead line experience, hold a CDL, and be willing to travel long distances on short notice. Outages, storms, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of overhead line experience.
• CDL required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Ability to work outages, storms, emergencies and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems ( energized or de-energized ).
• Perform new construction, maintenance and repairs of overhead lines.
• Install and repair lines, poles, insulators, conductors and hardware.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE and insulated equipment.
• Climb structures and operate bucket trucks and other line equipment.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform live-line work with gloves and hot-sticks.
