Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems. The role involves working on energized and de-energized lines, climbing structures, and traveling to multiple job sites as needed.

You report to the Foreman and must practice strict safety protocols. The position requires CDL, 3 years of overhead line experience, and willingness to work extended hours and outages.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems safely.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers.
• Work outdoors in varied environmental conditions and weather.
