Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to safely construct and repair overhead distribution systems for energized and de-energized lines. Travel to out-of-state job sites may be required and you will report to the Foreman.

Responsibilities include installing lines, poles, insulators and related hardware, following switching and grounding procedures, and performing live-line work with proper PPE and hot-stick techniques.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair lines, poles, insulators and hardware.
• Adhere to switching, grounding and voltage procedures and use proper tools.
• Climb structures and work at heights using approved methods.
• Operate bucket trucks, derricks and other equipment safely.
• Respond to outages, storms and emergencies, including on-call rotations.
