Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman for overhead distribution work across various job sites. You will construct, repair and maintain energized and de-energized lines, traveling as needed to meet customer needs and outages.

The role requires safety-first execution, climbing of structures, and the ability to work in extreme outdoor conditions. Reports to the Foreman and may involve on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work outside normal hours, including weekends and emergencies.
• Able to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Lead crew members in the absence of the Employee in Charge and conduct safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Perform live-line work using approved gloving and hot-stick techniques.
