Job summary

150 Primoris T&D Services, LLC is seeking Overhead Lineman Apprentices Levels 1–8 in the Inverness, FL area to assist experienced crews with distribution line work. This entry-level role progresses through apprenticeship levels based on training, skills, and demonstrated capabilities.

You will help build and maintain overhead lines, support with poles, crossarms, conductors, and safety procedures, and work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Previous overhead electrical distribution or utility construction experience preferred; varies by level.
• Willingness to progress through an apprenticeship and learn the overhead line trade.
• Physically demanding work including lifting, climbing, and working at heights.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work as part of a crew.
• Must be willing to travel or work extended hours, overtime, weekends, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead electrical distribution lines.
• Support linemen with poles, crossarms, insulators, conductors, and transformers.
• Perform groundwork and provide field support to line crews.
• Assist with pulling, sagging, and installing overhead conductor.
• Operate hand and power tools and learn climbing, rigging, grounding, and safety procedures.
• Help with loading/unloading, site setup, cleanup, and traffic-control duties.
• Work from ground and heights as training permits; follow safety requirements.
