Job summary

Primoris T&D Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Overhead Journeyman Lineman for projects in the Port Richey, Florida area. You will construct, maintain, and repair overhead distribution and transmission systems, read blueprints, and operate bucket trucks and digger derricks.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, a Journeyman Lineman apprenticeship, a valid Class A CDL, and at least 4 years of experience. Safety-first mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Journeyman Lineman apprenticeship program.
• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Minimum of 4 years of Journeyman Lineman experience with overhead power lines.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA/NESC safety standards.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and repair overhead distribution and transmission systems.
• Install and remove poles, crossarms, insulators, transformers, and other equipment.
• String, sag, and splice overhead conductors; operate bucket trucks and digger derricks.
• Perform hot stick work and energized line procedures safely.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on overhead lines; follow safety regulations.
• Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response as required.
• Complete paperwork and documentation accurately.
