Job summary

PIKE Electric LLC seeks a Class B Lineman to construct and repair energized and de-energized overhead distribution systems. This role requires climbing structures, operating bucket trucks, and performing live-line work with proper PPE.

You will travel to various job sites, including out-of-state locations, and participate in outages, storms, and emergency callouts. A CDL and at least 3 years of overhead line experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Willing to work outages, storms, emergencies including on-call rotation.
• Live-line work experience using gloving and hot-stick techniques.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems (energized and de-energized).
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and hardware.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks and other line equipment.
• Climb structures and work at heights, in confined spaces, near energized equipment.
• Perform live-line work using approved techniques and troubleshoot faults.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.
