Job summary

The Groundman position is your first step to a rewarding career in the construction and maintenance of our nation's Power Grid. You will assist your team in building, repairing, and maintaining overhead electrical distribution systems. You will report to the Foreman.

Perform new construction, maintain and repair overhead distribution systems while putting safety first. Willing to travel long distances on short notice and able to obtain a CDL within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist team in building, repairing, and maintaining overhead electrical distribution systems.
• Report to the Foreman and follow safety protocols including PPE use.
• Perform new construction, maintain and repair overhead distribution systems.
• Inspect materials and equipment and keep company vehicles, tools in good working order.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions and be available for outages, storms, emergencies including on‑call rotation.
