Job summary

5 Star Electric, LLC is seeking an Overhead Distribution Foreman to oversee fiber, communications, and de-energized line work under the direction of the foreman or division manager. The role requires strong safety leadership, field supervision, and coordination of crews across distribution, substations, and fiber installations.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 3–4 years of related experience, with CDL Class A and safety certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three to Four (3-4) years of experience or equivalent hours and/or education/training.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid State driver license.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily job briefings and ensure crew readiness for hazards.
• Ensure safety of crew and supervise installation, maintenance, and repair of distribution lines and related equipment.
• Promote harmony with customers and the public; manage material, equipment and manpower requirements.
• Conduct pre-job meetings and safety analyses; ensure knowledge of fiber/electrical line work.
