Job summary

5 Star Electric, LLC is seeking an Overhead Distribution Foreman to supervise fiber and overhead electrical line work in Western Kentucky. You will lead crews, ensure safety, and coordinate with foremen and division managers in de-energized line tasks including pole changes and reconductor work.

The role requires climbing poles, working outdoors in all weather, and strict adherence to OSHA standards. A high school diploma and 3–4 years of experience are expected plus a valid driver's license and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–4 years of experience or equivalent hours/education in electrical line work.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily crew briefings and ensure crew readiness for hazards.
• Ensure safety of crew and oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground lines and equipment.
• Coordinate with foremen/division manager and other crews to complete work safely and efficiently.
• Read data from meters and recordkeeping; conduct pre-job safety analyses.
• Carry out pole changes, reconductor work, and other fiber/electrical line tasks as required.
