Job summary

Utilities Service, LLC in Monroe, LA is seeking an Overhead Apprentice Lineperson to assist with overhead distribution line construction and maintenance. This hands-on role involves climbing poles, digging, operating tools, and supporting linepersons while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates are at least 18, capable of long hours, and willing to travel for storm work. DOT medical card and CDL preferred; valid driver's license required. On-site position with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Safely enter and exit aerial devices and bucket trucks.
• Follow directions and work safely with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clears work area and maintains safe jobsite conditions.
• Assists with assembling material and supports installation from ground.
• Climb wooden poles to aid in duties and communicate work to be performed.
• Operates various hand tools and equipment; comply with safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisors.
