Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Florida is seeking an Overhead Distribution Apprentice Lineperson to assist with construction and maintenance of overhead distribution lines and equipment. This entry-level role offers hands-on training in safe, efficient linework and crew support.

You will climb poles, assist with material installations, and perform ground tasks while adhering to regional safety guidelines. Applicants should be 18+, able to work long hours, and obtain a DOT medical card within 90

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to climb and work from heights safely.
• Willing to travel for emergency storm work when required.
• Follow safety guidelines and instructions from supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Clears work area and maintains safe jobsite conditions.
• Assists with assembling material and work from ground to be installed by lineperson.
• Climb wooden poles to help perform duties.
• Excavates to assist in installing structures or cable as required.
• Communicates work to property owners and the public as needed.
• Participates in safety training and follows regional policies.
• Operates basic hand tools and equipment as directed.
• Works around energized parts with proper protection.
• Performs other duties as needed by Supervisors.
