Job summary

SolPowerlines, LLC seeks a B Class Lineperson to join the Overhead Distribution Construction and Maintenance team in Monroe, LA. You will assist with construction and maintenance of overhead lines, climb wooden poles with fall protection, and work from the ground or aerial devices.

The role requires two years of trade experience, a valid driver''s license (CDL preferred or obtainable within 90 days), and compliance with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in the trade.
• Experience climbing wooden poles.
• Valid driver''s license; CDL preferred or willing to obtain within 90 days.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Willingness to travel out of state for emergency storm work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction and maintenance of overhead distribution lines and equipment.
• Work from wooden poles or aerial devices with PPE.
• Exposed to weather and hazardous equipment; follow safety policies.
• Assist with pulling in new wire and sagging; replace and set poles.
• Communicate work to property owners and callers; maintain safe jobsite.
