Job summary

5 Star Electric, LLC (5 Star) is seeking an Overhead Distribution Foreman to lead crews performing fiber and electrical line work in outdoor environments across Kentucky and nearby regions. You will supervise daily operations, ensure safety, coordinate with foreman, manage materials and equipment, and uphold high standards for installed distribution services and storm work readiness.

Requires strong communication, the ability to climb poles, travel as needed, and a valid CDL Class A license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3-4 years of field experience or equivalent training.
• Valid driver license and CDL Class A is required.
• OSHA 10hr safety training or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily job briefings with the crew for safety and planning.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead lines.
• Ensure safety standards and proper use of equipment.
• Coordinate material, equipment, and manpower needs.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Perform field supervision over crews and report findings.
