Job summary

Konecranes in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Industrial Technician to service overhead cranes and hoists at customer sites. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, work at heights, and collaborate with facility directors to meet service needs across the United States.

The role requires a High School Diploma (Associate degree preferred) and at least 1 year of electrical and mechanical experience.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required; Associate degree or related vocational training preferred.
Minimum 1 year experience with electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license; ability to travel and work off the ground.

Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain, and repair electric overhead cranes and hoists at customer sites.
Provide on-call service and after-hours support.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site.
Document findings and recommend corrective actions, including safety notifications to customers.
Stay updated on OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI codes and regulations.
Produce service reports and client documentation accurately.
