Job summary

Konecranes is seeking an experienced Overhead Crane Service Technician to diagnose and repair electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer sites across the United States. You will perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs, prioritizing safety and quality in every job.

The role requires on-call availability, travel, and timely documentation of service reports. You will stay current with OSHA/ANSI/CMAA/HMI codes and provide customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair experience.
• Willing to travel, work off the ground, overtime and on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer sites.
• Provide on-call service as part of a rotation.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site.
• Document findings and recommend corrective actions; obtain customer signatures.
• Stay updated on OSHA/ANSI/CMAA/HMI codes and standards.
