Job summary

Konecranes is seeking an Industrial Technician to service overhead cranes nationwide. The role emphasizes electrical and mechanical repair, safety, and customer interaction at client sites. Candidates should be able to work at heights, travel as needed, and participate in on-call rotations.

Required is a high school diploma with related technical training or an associate degree; one year of electrical/mechanical experience is preferred. A valid driver's license is a must.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair experience.
• Experience with cranes is a plus but not required.
• Must have driving license and safe driving record.
• Willingness to travel and work off the ground, including overtime.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electric overhead cranes and hoists at customer sites.
• Provide on-call service as part of rotation, including after-hours support.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural and electronic issues on-site.
• Document findings and recommend corrective actions, including safety notifications.
• Communicate with customers on repairs and safety improvements.
