Job summary

Konecranes is seeking an Industrial Technician to service overhead cranes and hoists across the United States. You will diagnose, repair, and inspect electrical and mechanical systems, with emphasis on safety and quality.

This role requires climbing, lifting, and occasional travel to customer sites. Ideal candidates have at least a high school diploma and 1+ year experience in electrical troubleshooting or mechanical repair, plus a valid driver's license and willingness to work on-call,

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
Associate degree in Industrial Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology preferred or equivalent training.
Minimum 1 year experience in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Willingness to work off the ground and travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain and repair electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations.
Provide on-call service as part of a rotation, including after-hours support.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural and electronic issues on-site.
Document findings and recommend corrective actions with safety notifications.
Communicate with customers on repair and safety issues; produce service reports.
