Job summary

Konecranes Charlotte seeks an Industrial Technician to service overhead cranes nationwide, performing electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs while prioritizing safety. The role includes after-hours on-call support and customer collaboration to ensure optimal material handling solutions.

The position requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year of electrical troubleshooting experience, and the ability to travel and lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

• Education and hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
• Crane-related experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to travel and work off the ground when needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer sites.
• Provide on-call service as part of a rotation and after-hours support.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site.
• Document findings and recommend corrective actions with customer signatures.
• Uphold safety standards per OSHA/ANSI/CMAA/HMI and company policies.
